SkyWest Airlines Helps Spartans Soar

As the largest regional airline in the U.S., SkyWest Airlines boasts over 2,000 daily flights to over 230 destinations serving 43 million passengers annually with their fleet of 450+ aircraft.

Cadets are supported along the Pilot Career pathway to SkyWest Airlines with their cultural pillars of Teamwork, Safety, Stability, and Professionalism. Oh, and did we mention that Forbes named them on their America’s Best Large Employers 2021 List? Which makes their Glassdoor Employee’s Choice Award and top 50 Best Places to Work in 2021 award unsurprising.

The SkyWest Pilot Career Pathway (“Pathway”) is intended to provide SkyWest with a pipeline of prospective pilots. The Pathway is available to interested Spartan College students who are enrolled in the Aviation Flight Degree Program (“Program”). Pathway terms and availability may be subject to change. Spartan students in the Pathway may be eligible for Education Assistance from SkyWest subject to meeting specific benchmarks within the Program and after graduation. Any Education Assistance is paid by SkyWest directly to the student and requires a contract between SkyWest and the student. Spartan College is not a party to any contract between SkyWest and the student. Graduates of the Program are not eligible for employment as a pilot with SkyWest until logging 1,250 flight hours post-graduation. Employment with SkyWest is not guaranteed. Students in the Pathway may also be eligible for a Spartan College scholarship. See the College Catalog for additional details.
