Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma as Spartan School of Aeronautics by W.G. Skelly, President of Skelly Oil Company, on September 27, 1928. He established Spartan Aircraft Company and formed the corporation which built Tulsa Municipal Airport (now called Tulsa International Airport).

Due to federal privacy laws, academic transcripts cannot be released without a signed Spartan College Transcript Request Form. Forms may be submitted to the Office of the Registrar via U.S. Mail, delivery service, in-person, or email (address found in the forms below), and the $5.00 transcript request fee must be paid prior to the release of transcripts.

Do you love flying and are considering training for a career as a commercial airline pilot? Spartan College teaches the skills you need to become a commercial pilot and earn your associate degree. Our Aviation Flight program is designed to provide the necessary education and background that will enable students to be prepared both technically and professionally for entry-level aviation positions. Instrumentation Rating, Commercial, and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument modules are all included in the program. With your previous experience, you could be eligible to reduce your training time using your experience if approved as transfer credits.
Get your Private Pilot training through your current school, then join Spartan College for your Instrument through CFII and Associate Degree in Tulsa, OK. We know moving can sound like a lot. That is why we offer housing scholarships for students who start their training with one of our affiliates and join Spartan College to finish their education. Beyond training more than 100,000 pilots and technicians over the last 90 years, Spartan is an accredited college with access to financial aid for those who qualify. As an approved FAA Part141 program, we also offer reduced ATP qualification for those who complete our program. This includes: 1,250 vs 1,500 flight hour requirements, 200 vs 500 cross county hours, and the ability to start at 21 vs 23 years of age post-graduation. Our graduates who qualify can also apply to become a Certified Flight Instructor with Spartan College and get paid to earn their flight hours!

The training, experience, and education you receive with our technology management degree allows you to increase your knowledge and management skills. Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Technology Management degree program are more well-rounded and will be more prepared for future opportunities including entry-level management.
Our Bachelor of Science in Technology Management degree was designed with you in mind. Private Pilot certification is equivalent to 15 credits and Certified Flight Instructor Certification is equivalent to 15 more credits. If you are approved to transfer up to 30 credit hours based on your current certifications and experience, that can help reduce tuition costs, and could take your training from 31 months to as few as 23 months.
