Spartan Education Group to Participate in SUN 'n FUN: An Aerospace Expo Unveiling Visionary Initiatives for Aviation's Bright Future

Spartan Education Group (SEG) is thrilled to participate as an exhibitor in the upcoming  SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, taking place April 9-14th in Lakeland, Florida. SUN ‘n FUN kicks off the national 2024 airshow season, welcoming enthusiastic aviators, and those passionate about aviation who are interested in all facets of the industry. SUN ‘n FUN's mission "Preserve and Enhance the Future of Flight Through World Class Events, Inspiring and Educating People of All Ages" is in perfect alignment with SEG's, with the shared educational goal of influencing the future generations of aviators. SEG achieves this by imparting knowledge and skills to students from local communities and across the globe via their six aviation training campus locations, guided by their core values of innovation, respect, integrity, safety, and excellence.

SEG is excited to participate in Sun ‘N FUN and looks forward to engaging with future aviators on a personal level, with the opportunity to discuss the various training options that their college locations offer. For nearly 100 years, SEG's Aeronautics and Technology colleges have been developing future aviation professionals nationwide, resulting in the training of over 100,000 pilots and technicians.  SEG will be an exhibitor at the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo, underscoring their dedication to training professionals in aviation and related fields. SEG operates a collegiate FAA Part 141 aviation flight training program in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as additional FAA Part 141 training in Chicago, Illinois and Broomfield, Colorado, and collegiate FAA Part 147 training in Tulsa, OK; Broomfield, CO; Inglewood, CA; and Riverside, CA. The SEG exhibitor booth will have admissions representatives onsite dedicated to answering questions related to their flight, pilot pathways, and aviation technician and technology training offerings.

Since 1974 as a gathering for aviation enthusiasts, the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo has evolved into one of the premier aviation events worldwide. Today, the event proudly stands as Florida’s largest annual convention, attracting over 200,000 visitors annually. Renowned as "Aviation’s Season Opener" or "Spring Break for Pilots," the event showcases the best of aviation, drawing pilots and enthusiasts from across the globe.

Attendees who attend the expo are to expect to be greeted by a dazzling array of aircraft, spanning Vintage, Homebuilt, Aerobatic, Warbird, Jet, and Light Sport categories.

Complementing these displays is a bustling trade show featuring over 500 exhibitors offering a wide range of products and services. Hands-on workshops provide invaluable building and maintenance skills, while forums cover topics ranging from safety to emerging technologies. SUN ‘n FUN isn’t just for pilots; it offers training opportunities, STEM and Career Fair activities, a Family Fun Zone, and renowned daily and night airshows, featuring thrilling performances from military and civilian performers alike.
