Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology Hosts "Spartan AERO Day" at Campuses Nationwide on September 26, 2026

Prospective students and families invited to explore aviation careers through hands-on activities, campus tours, and guest speaker presentations

(Thursday, September 24, 2026) — Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology will host Spartan AERO Day, one of its largest annual open-house events, on Saturday, September 26, at five campus locations across Oklahoma, Colorado, and California. The free, in-person event is designed for prospective students and their families to explore aviation training pathways, tour Spartan facilities, and meet faculty and admissions staff. 

Spartan AERO Day will take place simultaneously at the following locations: 

• Tulsa Main Campus (Tulsa, Okla.) 

• Tulsa Flight Facility (Tulsa, Okla.) 

• Denver Area Campus (Broomfield, Colo.) 

• Los Angeles Area Campus (Inglewood, Calif.) 

• Inland Empire Area Campus (Riverside, Calif.) 

Each event will give attendees an inside look at the world of aviation, covering topics ranging from airframes, turbines, and propellers to avionics, hydraulics, and airspace. Every location will feature a guest speaker addressing the current state of the aviation industry and taking audience questions, along with campus tours, meet-and-greets with instructors and admissions staff, and hands-on demonstrations. 

Campus-specific highlights include: 

• Tulsa Flight Facility attendees can tour the flight hangar, view a static display of a Piper Archer, and take part in an interactive flight training activity. 

• Tulsa Main Campus, Denver, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire locations will offer hands-on maintenance-technology demonstrations, financial aid sessions, and interactive games and activities. 

• Attendees at the Denver, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire campuses will also enjoy light snacks and refreshments provided on site.  

Spartan College offers programs in Aviation Flight, Aviation Maintenance Technology (including an Airframe & Powerplant track in California), Aviation Electronics Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management. Spartan AERO Day events are intended for prospective students and their families; registration is free and available through Eventbrite for each location (linked above).
