Why did you select Spartan College and your program of study?
It was only Aviation College that attracted me during my search for Aviation Institution and I chose AMT course to understand the airplane mechanism.
How did Spartan College successfully prepare you for your career?
Spartan gave me the tools and skills needed in this major field of study.
Please describe your career path and how you got to where you are today (Including degrees earned).
After my AMT diploma, I furthered on to Associate Degree and I worked for some MRO repair station - including AAR OKC OK, and Aircraft Manufacturing companies through Precision Resources( MA) as contractor for Piper Aircraft and through Strom Aviation as contractor for Boeing South Carolina for short period . I am currently moving up to Aerospace Engineering in Oklahoma State University-Stillwater OK
How has your education made a difference in your life?
It made me realized that touching any part of aircraft is to do it well for the sake of human life.
What advice do you have for current students?
Do not give up when your mind is dragging you. Seek peer tutoring help and fight to win the battle.
Please describe the ways that Spartan College faculty and staff impacted you.
They are always willing to go extra mile to assist their students like Damon Bowling, Steve Lockhead- instructor, Mr. Nichols-instructor, Ziki Elles, and Miss Melody in the library. There are awesome people who made me passed through, like student and friend- Ebenezer Siriboa. The educational director at that time , Ryan G. helped me stayed on campus during difficulty time.
How did Spartan Prepare you for your day to day responsibilities? What tools and equipment do you use?
Spartan instructors advice went a long way to shape my approach to aircraft and airplanes." Whenever you are working on aircraft or airplane, note that someone is going to sit inside, therefore doing your job well will save life", said one of the instructors during my time.
What have been some of the high points of your career?
Being able to taste the daily lifestyle of a AMT in AAR, Boeing and Piper
