Academic Excellence in Aviation
The Learning Resource Center (commonly called a “library” or “LRC”) at Spartan College of Aeronautics Broomfield provides students with resources that support and supplement the student’s study and research needs. Materials on hand are geared toward an education in aviation with hundreds of books and materials to support the Aviation Electronics Technology, and Aviation Maintenance Technology programs. The LRC also catalogs professional journals, magazines, videos, CDs and DVDs and other various materials for student use. Additionally, the LRC is equipped with computers that are available for word processing requirements and internet access for research purposes.
Many of these materials can be accessed through computer catalogs and electronic databases. In addition, the learning resource center offers personal service to its patrons with access to aviation indexes, manuals, directories of airports, and online databases including national and international library holdings.
Other services offered through the Spartan College Broomfield Learning Resource Center:
- Training in library usage, database retrieval, resume writing, and scholarship resources
- Children’s books on aviation for students with children
Students have access to the Learning Resource Center from 7:30AM to 11:00PM Monday-Friday.
