Our First Step

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology was founded in Tulsa, OK as Spartan School of Aeronautics by W.G. Skelly, President of Skelly Oil Company, on September 27, 1928. He established Spartan Aircraft Company and formed the corporation which built Tulsa Municipal Airport (now called Tulsa International Airport).

Spartan College’s Tulsa campus has been providing aviation education since 1928. Students can pursue hands-on training in aviation flight, aviation maintenance technology, aviation electronics technology, and other available programs while learning in facilities designed for career-focused aviation education.

Located in Broomfield, Colorado, the Denver Area campus provides hands-on aviation training convenient to the greater Denver metropolitan area. Students can train in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Aviation Electronics Technology using industry-relevant equipment and practical learning experiences.

Located in Inglewood, California, approximately one mile from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Spartan College’s Los Angeles Area campus provides career-focused Aviation Maintenance Technology training. Students gain hands-on experience designed to build the technical skills and knowledge used in aircraft maintenance.

Inland Empire Area

Located in Riverside, California at historic Flabob Airport, Spartan College’s Inland Empire Area campus offers Aviation Maintenance Technology training in an aviation-focused environment.
