Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology is an aviation mechanic trade school that upon successful completion of the Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program, students will be eligible to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Knowledge Tests and the Oral and Practical examination required for the Airframe and/or Powerplant Certification. Founded in 1928, we are proud of our history as an aircraft mechanic school that has trained the future generations of aviation technicians. Spartan does not guarantee third-party certifications.

Our AMT program provides training from changing a tire to rebuilding a turbine engine on a range of different aircraft from a small single engine plane to a large transport plane like those used by major airlines.
