At Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology’s Tulsa campuses, our faculty and staff are committed to the success of our students and we know this relies on more than just the academic coursework in a student’s program of choice. This is why we provide such a wide variety of support services such as:
Student Housing: Finding a place to call home while in school often involves certain factors such as location and cost. To help make your housing search easier, we provide a Shared Housing Program. This option provides the affordability of dormitory-style living with the independence and privacy of apartment living. This student housing option is available for technology students who wish to stay closer to the campus. Our apartment-style residence hall is located directly behind the main campus. For students who are married or have families, we recommend our Independent Housing Program, which can help you locate affordable apartments near our campus.
Financial Aid: Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
Scholarships: Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology offers a variety of scholarship opportunities. Click here to see more details on dedicated scholarship opportunities for Spartan College students.
Student Job Assistance: We understand that students may plan to work while studying at Spartan. We actively post job opportunities available to our students. Our advisors also give students advice on what employment opportunities fit their work experience. We can also help our students prepare for interviews. Family members and support persons are also welcome to use this service.
Career Services: Spartan College has a world class career services department which has led to our high graduate job placement rate. Our Career Services department offers career strategy seminars, resume preparation, cover letter writing, on-campus career fairs, assistance with job applications, job interview guidance and much more. Career Services is constantly pursuing networking and employment opportunities with top companies in aviation and other relevant industries.
Library: Our libraries provide students with a variety of learning resources. Our Tulsa Campus Library is located on our main campus and supports all curricula. The Flight Campus Library supports our flight program only. Both libraries are filled with thousands of books and materials to help students in their flight, aviation maintenance, avionics, quality control and aviation technology studies as well as computers with Internet access.
Student Store: At the Tulsa Campus this is open to students’ to purchase all the books and equipment needed to complete their training and education of Spartan. Basic supplies are also available for purchase.
Campus Activity: We offer students activities such as table tennis, pool and a cafeteria (north campus only) so students can meet with their classmates, grab a study snack, work on projects, or just relax. Our activity areas are located at both of our technical campus locations and the flight campus. At times, discount tickets are available to students for local and regional events and attractions. Information on student activities is regularly posted in the centers.
