Crimson Technical College’s A&P training program offered near LAX remains, but now is a diploma from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Same great education, now with a globally recognized institution.

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology’s origins date back to 1928 when the school was founded by W.B. Skelly in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Skelly was convinced that air transportation would come of age and bring with it a need for skilled aircraft technicians and pilots. He was right, and as a result, the Spartan aviation school, with its learn-by-doing teaching philosophy, quickly became a leader in aviation education, standing out from other aviation schools and programs. It’s a place for individuals to learn how to turn their passion for aviation into a career they love. The school has never wavered from this mission over the past 86 years.

These two pillars of aviation education will now be joined as sister schools using the same brand name. The Spartan College brand has a well-established global reputation in the aviation industry. Spartan College has trained over 90,000 pilots and technicians since it was founded and Crimson Technical College has trained over 40,000 technicians. The combined magnitude of this alumni base is a powerful tool for future graduates when they are seeking employment.

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology and Crimson Technical College have served a combined 130,000 alumni!
