Nondestructive Testing / Quality Control

The education impacted the quality of my life! In an economy and job market where degrees are “A dime a dozen.” A degree in QCM/NDT stands out! Trade work is hot right now and will be in the future. Our nation has lost many skilled tradesmen, machinist, millwrights, and electrical instrumention & calibrations. QC and NDT are strong, especially in the government and utilities companies equal awesome pay, benefits, and retirement! Thanks Spartan.

ControlSpartan training put me in the driver’s seat. It gave me the education I needed to excel and the confidence to get where I wanted to go. My first job after graduation was with Pemco Aeroplex (inspections) military aircraft. I’m now QC, NDT Manager ASNT Level III.

Spartan gave me the theory and hands-on experience in the classroom which put me ahead of other people who either haven’t had the training upon entering my career field or they’ve had less training. With the Spartan name, I’ve been able to command higher starting wages. I moved from Missouri to attend Spartan and my first job after graduating was as a Fluorescent Penetrate tech at a Tulsa plating company. I’m now a Site Manager, C.W.I. multi-certified technician.

Quality and Inspection Supervisor
I was fresh out of high school when I was introduced to the Spartan recruitment video. After watching the video I was very interested in the NDT and Quality Control programs. After taking a tour of the campuses and a tour of Tulsa I enrolled into Spartan and moved from Southern Maryland. Once I completed the information packed fast paced NDT and AAS programs, I applied and was quickly hired by Cameron. Cameron is a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries. Leveraging its global manufacturing, engineering and sales and service network, Cameron works with drilling contractors, oil & gas producers, pipeline operators, refiners and other process owners to control, direct, adjust, process, measure and compress pressures and flows. Utilizing what I learned through the NDT and Quality Control programs. I quickly advanced in my career path. I am currently the Quality and Inspection Supervisor at Cameron’s aftermarket repair facilities located in Moore and Oklahoma City.
