Applying for financial aid is easy!
Money is available for your education, and we are here to help you. It is important you begin your financial aid steps as soon as possible upon your enrollment to make sure you meet any deadlines to receive any eligible funding by your start date.
To apply for all types of federal financial aid, including grants, loans, and work-study jobs, follow these 5 steps:
Before you complete the FAFSA for the 1st time:
You need to create an FSA user ID and password. Your FSA ID is used to confirm your identity when accessing your financial aid information and electronically signing your federal student aid documents.

Students starting January 2018 through the Fall of 2018 will need two (2) different FAFSAs to maximize any eligible federal funds. Access both links below, completing the 2017-18 first, then the 2018-19.
Use the 2017-18 FAFSA on the Web Worksheet AND the 2018-19 FAFSA on the Web Worksheet to gather the information needed before you complete your online FAFSAs. (2017-18 documents available October 1st, 2017)
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
You will need your 2016 income tax information if filed, to complete your 2018-19 FAFSA, If you filed 2015 and 2016 taxes, you can select IRS data retrieval and income will automatically populate the application, this is the preferred method. You will electronically sign the application with your FSA ID.
Spartan College has different school codes depending on which campus you are applying for.
