Earning Outlook
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the lowest 10 percent earned less than $38,970.* The median annual wage for aircraft mechanics and service technicians was $66,440 in May 2020. While no college can guarantee job placement or salary, our career services department works closely with our graduates and employers throughout the job search process.

*The SkyWest Technician Career Pathway (“Pathway”) is intended to provide SkyWest with a pipeline of prospective technicians. The Pathway is available to interested Spartan College students who are enrolled in a Spartan technician program (“Program”). Pathway terms and availability may be subject to change. Spartan students in the Pathway may be eligible for Education Assistance from SkyWest subject to meeting specific benchmarks within the Program and after graduation. Any Education Assistance is paid by SkyWest directly to the student and requires a contract between SkyWest and the student. Spartan College is not a party to any contract between SkyWest and the student. Employment with SkyWest is not guaranteed. More specifically, its Airline Division has over 90,000 members across trades such as aircraft maintenance, piloting, customer service and more.
