AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT CERTIFICATION TEST PREP COURSE

  This test prep course is offered by Howard Jaeger, Designated Mechanics Examiner (DME) to prepare applicants for the FAA Airframe and Powerplant, Oral and Practical Exam. Classes will be scheduled on a regular based. The class is five days in length. Class times will be from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. The course fee is $750 which includes the examination fee and course materials and is paid directly to the DME. Please contact Howard Jaeger for a course registration form. Applicants to bring a laptop or e-devise that will allow for internet access Course fee to be paid on or before the scheduled start date of the class.   2019 Class Calendar April 15 thru April 19, 2019 May 28 thru June 3, 2019 July 15 thru July 19, 2019 August 26 thru August 30, 2019 October 7 thru October 11, 2019 November 18 thru November 22, 2019   Discounts For Written Exams Students may earn a discount for all FAA exams by taking three practice exams with a score of 85% or better.

Practice written exams can be taken in the Library, Career Center, or on the student’s computer. The student must show these test results to Library personnel, Career Services personnel or the AMT Department Chair in order to receive the discount coupon.   Certification Reimbursement Upon completion of the certification process, Spartan Students will be reimbursed 50% for the exam fees paid to the Designated Mechanic Examiner. The student must show a copy of their temporary certificate to be eligible.
