Spartan
Libraries are the gateway to academic excellence.
Geared to support the aviation curricula, the libraries
offer thousands of books, journals, videos, DVDs,
CD-ROMs and various other materials. Materials can
be accessed through networked computer catalogs
and electronic databases. In addition, the libraries
offer high levels of service to its patrons with
access to special aviation indexes, directories
of airports and online databases including national
and international library holdings.
The Libraries participate in the OK-Share card program
with the State of Oklahoma linking all state academic
institution libraries. A courtesy card is issued
for each patron to utilize all participating libraries.
Spartan Libraries provides Internet service to facilitate
information sharing among the state's libraries
through the use of the Statewide Online Catalog,
and the online services EBSCOhost, FirstSearch,
and SIRS Discoverer Deluxe.
Other services offered through the libraries:
•Students may take the FAA Private Pilot Written
Practice Test
•Training in library usage, database retrieval,
resume writing, and scholarship resources
•Children's books on aviation for students
