Whether you are interested in pursuing a professional pilot career or keeping your boots on the ground, Spartan's programs are hands-on industry driven programs designed to prepare you for a successful career. Spartan's Tulsa, Oklahoma Campus is an accredited member of ACCSC and Licensed by the OBPVS. The Los Angeles, California Campus is an accredited member of the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. Spartan's aviation maintenance and professional flight programs are approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The aviation electronics programs are certified by NCATT (National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technologies) and the nondestructive testing program is affiliated with the ASNT (American Society of Nondestructive Testing).
With a combined total of over 347,000 square feet of training facilities located on two Tulsa area airports and the Los Angeles campus located near LAX, Spartan is not only one of the oldest but largest aviation hands-on training programs available.
The structure of Spartan programs and student life seems to appeal to student accustomed to a military life or training style. Spartan students adhere to a code-of-conduct, dress code and attendance policy to ensure professional training is experienced. And, Spartan's instructors bring real-world practical experience to the classroom.
Spartan programs are also offered as a diploma or associate of applied science degree and can lead to a bachelor's degree in aviation technology management. Associate and bachelor's degree courses are offered on campus or online.
