Almost from its creation in 1928, Spartan College
of Aeronautics and Technology has been involved
in developing and delivering specialized training
to both international and domestic companies and
government organizations who have a need to train
individuals in various aviation disciplines.
• Prior to and during World War II, Spartan
trained pilots of the United States Army Air Forces
and the Royal Air Force of Great Britain. Spartan’s
flight school has also developed and implemented
specialized fixed-wing and helicopter pilot courses
for Ministry of Interior, Saudi Arabia. We have
provided airline transport training for pilots for
Yemeni Airlines, Alyemda Airlines, the United Sates
Air Force, Kuwait Airways, and Royal Nepal Airways.
• The aviation maintenance training program
has developed and delivered specialized aviation
maintenance training for such diverse customers

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology
maintains industry-current equipment to offer
excellent hands-on training. For our technical
training, Spartan has over 25 aircraft. For flight
training, Spartan has 3 Frasca flight simulators
and maintains a fleet of approximately 50 aircraft
including Cessna 152s, 172s, 172 RGs for advanced
complex training and Piper Seminoles for multiengine
training.
