If you like working with your hands and want an education and career skills that can apply to several industries, then our aviation quality control and nondestructive testing (NDT) courses may be right for you. Quality control technicians are critical in ensuring the safety of products and parts. They help companies and organizations in the areas of cost reduction, accident prevention and improving reliability.

Students in Spartan's Nondestructive Testing (NDT) program develop a versatile skill set of testing technology in radiography, eddy current testing, liquid dye penetrant, magnetic particle testing and ultrasonic testing.

In as few as 11 months, students can earn their diploma and qualify for work in several areas, including aerospace, aviation, construction, manufacturing, railroads, alternative energy, oil and gas and more. By continuing into our Associate program, students can even further expand their employment opportunities after graduation.

According to Personnel for Quality and Nondestructive Testing (PQNDT), full-time NDT employees can earn an average of $90,341 a year. The average wages for contractors in NDT is $43.29 an hour.
