Before one can become a student at Spartan, the United States government asks that certain requirements be met. The requirements are as follows:

1) You must be able to provide verification that you have the ability to pay for at least 12 months of tuition and living expenses (approximately $21,000.00 total).

2) You must be able to pass a complete physical.

3) Flight applicants must also complete processing with the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, flight student candidate processing. For more information visit www.flightschoolcandidates.gov.

4) You must have the English skills to score a 500 or better on the TOEFL.*

*It is important that you have a solid understanding of the English language because English is the required international language for the aviation industry.
